just watched another t-v show on dvr recorder..now every body will think they are able to trade up for high price items in perfect condition,, glad i know that it's a t-v show,,don't quite seeing every one being that lucky...oh well, that's entertainment

All TV is scripted the shows like this are just like wrestling it might look somewhat real but
the fix is in from the start.

One of the Bartering shows I was dumb enough to watch the barterer started out with something he valued at $300 and at the end had traded up to a supposedly $8000 hay burner(horse). Wow what a trader he was.

EXACTLY! Anyone who thinks "reality" tv is real is just fooling themselves. There is usually nothing exciting about real life, fun or boring maybe but usually not exciting, So they script it to make a pawn shop, truck driver, logger, etc seem exciting by adding drama of some sort, usually personal confrontations or something. Just irritates me to turn them on
