Spraying for Ticks

Hey, so what insecticide are you guys using to spray for ticks? I am looking at one of those 25 gal poly tanks on a trailer to pull behind where I can cover 80" and spray my yard. Also comes with a spray wand, so I can spray the trees around my house. I am declaring war on ticks. But what insecticide are you mixing?

I use my yard myself. I sure don't want spray on it.

I have used an Ortho product for the last several years which I think is Bugs Be Gone. It is a granular product which I spread with a small yard fertilizer and water in. It is very effective and a once a year application. I get it at Lowes and just paid $13 for a bag to cover 20,000 sq. ft. I spray foundations and sidewalks with Sevin which is effective but must be repeated monthly or so. No problem from the trees in my yard. After watering in the Ortho product is safe for pets or younguns.
