Agco White 6065 Engine miss when running wide open

I have no experience with these engines but understand that they do not have a single injection pump but rather, one for each cylinder. My first thought is that it is only missing slightly when run wide open because the timing is off slightly but I am not sure. Could this be the case and if not what could it be?

Is each cylinder injection timing adjusted individually due to the engine having individual injection systems for each piston and if so could it possibly be that one cylinder is slightly out of time relative to the others?

Thanks in advance for your help

You prob got a 2 stroke detroit in it.
It could be a sticky injector causing the mis,but lack of fuel is more likely.
i would Change the fuel filters,if that don't solve it,do a fuel pressure check.

The engine is made by SLH which is now Deutz Fahr I think.

It is a 4.0L (244ci) 4 cylinder diesel. We are changing the fuel filters so I will see if that does it. A fuel restriction would also make sense since it only does it when rev'd wide open.

Thanks for your help

Engine miss can be either pump timing to each cylinder or light load high speed fuel CC delivery balance between cylinders is out of spec. Worked on a Hatz air cooled diesel that had a miss, one cylinder had pump replaced but was calibrated wrong, barrel in pump needed reset to get exhaust temp within 30 degrees between cylinders at high speed no load.
