Just looked at the gauge and had 1.6" this morning. Came a little hard but I will not complain. Will start back haying tomorrow. We are blessed with a very good summer so far. Hay has been good and pasture also.

Woke up to thunder and lighting this morning and rain. Do not know how much we have gotten over here at the Lake of the Ozarks but we sure did need it. Hay this way has been good but only producing about half of what it has in a normal year

I just hope it makes it across the lake and gets here. I walked some corn this morning. Moisture is OK from the 1.2 we had a week ago last Friday, but we could always use more. The hay's standing up good for what it is. Haven't had any storms to knock it down,so it's cutting clean to the ground. I'm just nervous about the forcast if we don't get rain today or tonight. Looks hot and dry through next weekend.

We haven"t had any significant rain here in SE MN for several weeks. Corn was curling leaves over the weekend, pastures are burning off. Second crop hay looks to be short. There"s no rain forcast in the next seven days. Just hot, windy and low dew points every day. If we don"t get any rain soon its going to be a total failure on the row crops and not much hay to feed the cows.

If'n I ever meet a so called weatherman, I gonna kick him square in the nut'z.

I didn't cut hay because they kept forcasting rain. It didn't rain for 3 weeks. When I finally say screw it and cut hay, no rain forcasted for a week, it rained for two days.

Now we are back into the it's going to rain and doesn't cycle. I sure wish I had some hay to cut. The corn sure could use it.

We got a nice shower this morning in South Central Wisci. We needed it too. The crops were still fine leading up to the rain, but boy the ground was getting hard.

Less than 1 inch in the last 6 weeks in my area (Central, IN). Carried over a hundred gallon of water for the garden this weekend in 5 gal buckets. 4 muskmellon, & 4 Wartermellon plants completely soaked up 6 quarts each. Called for rain both Monday, & Tuesday. I felt about 20 drops on Sunday, nothing today, so far & forecast dropped rain for tomorrow with nothing for the forseeable forcast!

And just like the last several you all have had it has slowly fell apart and gone to not much as it headed South East. Still a little green on radar head'n this way but the first thin line only dropped .1" here, looks like some folks just south and west of here got a good rain they were needing. Glad some one is,,,,, just wait'n on my turn.

NW missouri - we got .5" last night and needed it...Its been a hard dry late spring - got all the rain we could ever want in march in early to mid april - too wet to get on the fields to prep...then BAM! Dried out - with this half we are at 1.81" since May 6th.

South 20 miles is worse...they I think they got some rain last night - would be first since April 30th...

Got 0.4" today. I planted taters on St. Patrick's day and I don't know how they survived. This is the first "good" rain (if you can call it that) that they have gotten. Vines are dying, but this has been a very odd year, weatherwise. I've pumped a lot of water this year.

Rain gauge said we got around 1/2 and inch which is by far no where near what we need. Been way to hot and way to dry this year and can only hope that we get a 2nd cutting of hay

(Central NC) This morning it was quite warm and muggy. A little fog here and there. Lady on TeeVee says 80% chances of rain today, heavy at times in afternoon. Put off starting anything serious outside. Had a few light showers, still waiting for the heavy part. BTW, tomorrow's forecast is the same. Yadda, Yadda, Yadda.

We've had 0.3" since May 6. Todays forecast missed us, and no more until next weekend. Corn really starting to roll, beans came up pretty spotty. We'll just wait and see.

Close to sixty days since we've seen over .1 snowpack is starting to run out. I'm 11 miles downsteam from our headgate on the river and the last ranch on the ditch.I think this is the worst year since 77.
We sure need rain
