I'm pretty sure they could get yesterday's weather wrong 25% of the time.

Did you ever notice if they have 3 minutes to report the weather, over 2 minutes is spent on what the weather was like that day or presently.

We were all there and saw the weather during the day you don't have to tell us what the weather was like. It's over.

That and making sure that we wear a coat or drive carefully...sheesh, do we really need weatherpeople to tell us that???

I realized today the term "Arab Spring" could have an extra meaning. So far this spring in n.w. Ohio it's like we're in an Arab desert.

Yeah, the last time I paid any attention to the forecast was I think Monday. Nothing in the forecast. This morning I woke up and it was raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock. Good thing my plans are always flexible.

One time a few years ago, a local 6pm TV weather gal forecase light flurries overnight.

The next evening she said, "There were an awful lot of people shoveling 6" of light flurries off thier sidewalks this morning".

I basically only grow hay, so you can see how iffy weather reports can wack me good. I usually listen to Philly, Harrisburg and Baltimore weather, look at Accuweather, then decide what to do. And I get faked out about 1/4 of the time. Oh well, I'm planning on cutting tomorrow evening. We shall see.

Really depends if the Radar (and Forecaster) are reputable and "UP-Wind" or the usual weather flow..

Here, we get out "forecasts" from Wilmington, Ohio.
Not dependable at all..

Indianapolis, Ind. could give us pin-point weather forecasts, but they are not broadcast here in Central, Ohio...I have seen their forecasting and know to the MINUTE, when each small town here will have a storm...

Check around..you may find BETTER Forecasting for your area...

Ron..

Have you tried using a local Airport weather forcast. WWW.aviationweather.gov, Then to METARs, inter Airport Ident then TAF.

Most of the time it suffices for me to look at the current weather conditions in England: that is the weather I'll have tomorrow. (The Netherlands lying east of England and the prevailing wind and route of the high and low pressure areas is westerly to south-westerly.) I believe this to have a better success rate than the high paid meteorologists.
This may or will work for many areas all over the world.
From a cloudy and cool Holland, Hendrik
