How do you adjust the governor on the pump?

The only adjustment is the high speed and low idle setting. These are done on the throttle shaft. They are just screws with lock nuts on them. IF your governor is acting funny besides that then it is an internal problem. If it is getting erratic then it is common for the governor ring to fall apart. It usually plugs the return check valve fitting.
