wire plugs??

Hey folks...
Been using my POFOLK designed/engineered TPU (tank and pump unit) and it works pretty slick... So far, I have just been using my DD to pull the trailer and have/keep the inverter cables attached to the battery...
I'd like to be able to just grab the inverter and use it on the tractor or car as needed without a hassle. Someone on here told me about heavy duty connectors but I forgot who t was and must be too thick headed to find connectors on my own. Would like to leave a plug on each vehicle and just plug in the inverter as needed... Can someone tell me what the plug I need is called or better yet a link that I can order it online? Cables are thick (don't know the gage) and it's a 2kw (1kw surge (??) inverter.
If possible with dust/moisture caps on them.

Dave II Here are some heavy duty ones used to hook up 12 volt winches. I have used them to make quick disconnect jumper cables. I have seen a similar thing on some military vehicles.

ANDERSON connector.
Thet's what they use on the forklift batterys.
they come in all different sizes, fron 15 amp up.
We use the 350 amp size for inverters and winches, have them on the JD2010C, Ford 8N, even on the Boat.
I can just plug in the inverter or winch where ever i need it.

That's the idea... But 50 bucks??? Guess I'll keep lookin or just unscrew the wire nuts....

Dave here are some of the Anderson connectors on Ebay. They are $10 each. You just use two to make a set. You would put one on the inverter and one each on each power source where you want to use them.
