Well just wondering how many of you go fishing after work, I tend to go alot if i have nuttin else to do, I go on Lake of the Woods, pretty good walleye lake, went tonight after work with a buddy just to make sure his boat was good to go before he brought his kids out, out for a few hours, caught quite a few fish, released them all though, just didnt feel like cleaning fish tonight, any how what lakes do you all fish if you go out after work?....later bob

I used to fish Lake of the Woods with some friends. Got a houseboat at Sioux Narrows and went up around Yellow Girl Bay. Really good fishing. Walleye and Northern.

Who has time to go fishing? Last time I was fishing was back in 1973. Since then I have been working twelve hours a day, seven days a week, with no time off. I don't even remember what a fish looks like.

Now that I'm 50, I remember what my Dad told me on several occasions before he passed. Always take the time to relax every now and then after work and get to the lake or woods. I've made it a point at this busy time in my life with the kids heading to college to make sure they make it on our annual fishing vacation every June. Just nice to take them out and enjoy the time with them as they'll be off on their own lives soon. Thankfully, they both like to fish and avidly look forward to deer and turkey season every year. SLOW down guys, enjoy it while you can!

I went fishing last Friday, with my 22 yr old daughter! She showed up Fri morning, with new tackle, and rod and reel, and asked me to leave off the garden work, and take her fishing. Best offer I've had in a long time! We hooked up the boat and trailer, and took off for American lake. Spent most of the day whipping the lake into a froth casting, and didn't catch a thing, but did a lot of visiting, and enjoying each others company. Old men need love too!

Haven't been fishing in over 20 years.... You wouldn't believe what it takes to get a fishing license here (let alone a hunting license)..... And the restrictions (lack of better words).... Carp is a popular fish for some reason... People raise them for sale to restaurants and private folks....

Several of the folks I work with are fishing fanatics. Fish nearly every day, year around. Ice fishing in the winter, fly fishing, open water fishing, you name it.

Sorta eludes me. Not that I'm all THAT busy, but the few times I've been, I spent most of my time thinking about all the productive things I could be doing if I wasn't sitting on my fat fundament in a boat.

Probably a result of the way I was brought up. Hunting, fishing and sports just weren't part of the program.

"Usually" go at least twice a week - but I haven't done that "usually" in about two years!

In fact, I think I've been fishing twice in the past two years.

Haven't lost interest really, just very busy with other stuff with the kids.

Not a whole lot of "me time" these days. And neither of my kids are big fishermen.

We don't have any good walley water around here (Mass.)

I fish mostly for bass and pike. Usually at night.

Occassionly get over to the ocean, surfcasting for stripers.

Do some fly fishing for rainbows and landlocked salmon.

So - aside from the last two years - if you were looking for me, there'd be a good chance I'd be on,in, or near the water.

Odd you mentioned fishing as just yesterday cleanning storage shed I came across my double telephone generator set-up . Few cranks and good spark . Thinking of going tomorrow. My favoret -- explosives is getting so hard to secure these days

We have a very nice farm pond on the edge of our property. The sad part is I can never find the time to enjoy what I've worked so hard for.. You know what... I'm going fishing tonight !!!... The chores can wait.. LOL..
