Looked at the radar and lightning strikes down to Alabama on the map, power is out all over NY acccording to the national grid map (local power Co.). Mine has been out 1.5 hours but the back up solar batteries kicked in, 1st one since it was installed, pretty darned slick. Was wondering how everyone else is getting along, the storm sure was widespread. Cable out too, down to the ole smartphone to post on yt. Have to go take a ride and see where our circuit is compromised.

Here in SE NH there is thunder rumbling to the west, and according to the radar the front is traveling ENE. It looks like it will get to us later on, hopefully not as bad as you got it. Just before 6:00 I finished painting the sides of a bale wagon that I am putting a new deck on, (a little mission creep going on here), so I decided to put it inside for the night. Not an easy task with a spring broken on the overhead door and the tractor ahead of the wagon, with the temporary Yale fork lift door operator sitting at the back.

Here we got a much appreciated and unexpected 1/4" yesterday, and 3/4" today. But it was very spotty. A couple miles in any direction and there might be limbs down, hail, downpours, etc.

Had Heavy Rain fer bout 1/2 hr, thunder, some wind round 10:30 am over here in n w Pa. BUT what really ------ Me off was The ping pong ball size hail that put dents in the hood,roof,and trunk of our 08 Chevy.
