Yanmar Sub Compacts

I am considering a new tractor - a Yanmar Sc2400. I would use this mainly for mowing but I do some pretty rough mowing. First of all I pull a 4 yard cart to pick up mulch for compost and garden. Second the grass is sometimes pretty high. Third I have to haul that cart full up some hills. Forth sometimes the ground I am mowing on is rough.

I am replacing an Ingersoll 4021 which was marginal for the job.

Have any of you had experience with this model or with Yanmar in general?

Over the past 15 years I have owned several
Yanmar tractors. Models 1500 thru the later
2420. Some 2 wheel drive and some 4 wheel drive.
Without exception they have all been excellent
machines. Few repairs and economical to operate.
I now own four and they are used daily.

For those of use unfamiliar with the wee Yanmars and Ingersolls here is some data.
One is a lawn tractor, the other is a garden tractor.
Off hand how the driver operates the tractor has a much to do with a machines ability. As the machines design.
How does your Mrs. feel about the $$$ to upgrade?

I bought a John Deere Industrial(Yellow) backhoe/loader. Of course they make more than one tractor model on the same frame. The green sister tractor has a 70+ HP John Deere Mexico engine. My industrial model has a Yanmar rated at a little less than 40HP. Seems to me there is a statement about Yanmar engines in that scenerio.

When John Deere had them build tractors for them they were some of the best they ever sold.

Don't know about these new cub cadet Yanmars though ?
