O.T. RE: Vacation advice, thanks everyone

A couple months ago I posted asking for suggestions for places I hadn't seen before along the I80 corridor. I did this because we travel a little bit differently than most people. My father is just over 100 and this really dictates the way that we travel. Generally we have a main destination in mind, in this case Yellowstone, travel to that destination, spend all the time we want seeing that attraction and then adding the smaller museums and attractions to see in route home.
I wish to thank the many people on this forum who took the time to respond. I Got many ideas of good things to see in route home. One person was even kind enough to volunteer his services as tour guide in his area. A very generous offer likely be unable to take advantage of, but very much appreciated anyway. Again thanks to everyone for the great advice.

When you hit I80 & I76 Near Big Springs,NE About 13 miles North of that is where I was born and raised. I sold the farm in 2007. Therefore the name Wheat Farmer. Have a good trip.

I wondered about "Wheat Farmer",since there is no wheat grown at Salida :)Where're you at?Up north toward "beune",east in the canyon,or west toward Poncha Springs and Monarch?Steve
