Finally got our corn in. 60 miles east of Pittsburgh PA. Had to fix up the 1240 as the seed drive shaft was slipping. It's all planted. Plus some extra pics of our garden and butchered fruit trees (oops). Anyway. First is my Super M with the 1240, Second is the patch right below our house, third is the patch on my paps ground, fourth is out garden, fifth is the fruit trees.

You have some nice deer habitat there. I am curious how you will keep them out of your sweet corn patch. I have the same problem with deer here.
 
A .270 works really well. Just kidding. They have been around but they haven't bothered anything yet. The first patch has corn and potatoes in it. 200 lbs of seed potatoes.
 
You have everything manicured. Not a weed anywhere. One of my old Army buddy's was from Altoona. He died in 2001. I have a mini barn about the same as your's. Hal

Beautiful place!

Hey, what do have growing in the area where the sheet of plastic is spread out? And is that there just for weed control?
 
We do all of our tomatoes peppers squash and watermelons on the plastic. Makes it easier to to keep the weeds down. We also put up an 8 foot mesh netting around the entire place to keep deer out. Has worked the last 7 years we've used it
