Making hay pics

My son Alex and I rounded up 109 bales yesterday.

Some of these pics are from the ridge hay field that we spread lime on last winter.
A good crop for this early in the season.
Also the most perfect weather I can remember for making hay in May.

The very first picture with the phototographer's rake/tedder visible in the rear view mirror then with a different tractor with round baler is really neat - 2 totally different views contained in a single photo.

Those are some good looking bales made from some large wind rows.

Looks like a very good first cutting.

Beautiful countryside there on your farm.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us.

Was tractor operator closing tailgate in second photo. If so somethings wrong with the hyd speed on the baler. The top tension roller should be down to tighten the belts before the tailgate gets anywhere close to where it is in the 2nd photo. Could be a problem with the balers hyd tensioning valve.
