Don't ask me why, but I was looking at rat rods today and thought it was interesting at the grill options some folks used.

I saw a few rat rods with tractor grills.

Makes you wonder, may have been easier to just put street tires on the tractor.

Guy in our town built a Rat Rod based on an old Waukesha 6 and 5 speed non-synchro trans out of an old fire truck. Geared to do about 60 at 1200 rpm, dual ignition and all. It's really neat and it'll idle at 250 rpm.

I think that grill looks good on there. If it didn't have the Case emblem on there I don't think most people wouldn't think twice when looking that the car.

I know a few guys over the years that have used Ford tractor radiators on T-buckets and Model As.

I have had several rat rod builders ask me where they can get tractor grills. I have never seen a case one used before, but farmall and david bradley grills seem to be what's popular with the car builders around here.

ive seen one that had the grill off of a minny mo tractor, when you think on it a lot of the old tractor grills look better than what came on the auto new, lol
