Help with hydraulic question

I just purchased a new holland ls170 skidloader and when I tried to hook it up to my post hole auger the aux. hydraulics wouldn't work. I traced the linkage and it appears that the plunger going into the valve is stuck. I tapped it with a hammer and it went in some. Now when I start up the machine I can hear it engaged. How do I unstick this valve. There is a screw looking cap on the top of each valve. Can I loosen the one above the stuck valve. Would this help?

Any help would great.

Can you figure out a way to work the valve back and forth? Maybe tap it in, pry it out?

Spray some PB Blaster or Kroil on the moving parts and work it back and forth.

You may need to take it out, take it apart, and clean it up.

If you can get to it and remove the control lever part of it and then spin the slide part around a few times that will go a long ways in getting it freed up. Then you will need to get it pushed in and out a number of times. Pour some ATF on it and that will help a whole lot since ATF has been found to be a very good penetrating oil
