Garden looks good, but I'm trying to see what's in your scrap piles in the background...LOL!

Well the 2nd picture I think has the 1950 8N with Scout back hoe in the back ground and a boat sitting beside it and a sprayer and maybe the MM RTU. Then in one of the others you see part of my 1980 Chev pick up and also the hay barn and the truck topper covers the Case VAC parts tractor LOL. To much growth to see the scrap iron pile that is also in the picture but the green stuff does a good job of hiding that iron pile which is about 20 wide and about 6 foot tall and 1500 feet long

I have had dish network and got screw big time by them I'll stick with direct TV but by the way the dish in the picture is not a working dish it is just there to use for plants to crawl up on

Hear you, old. I like dish sooooo much better, plus I can get a 5 channel Package with German TV, something direct does not have...It's nice to hear your "native tongue" now and then....smile...
Have a great Monday! Ralph in Oklahoma.

Ya sure wish I could speak it. I know a few words of it and I am well about 75% German and a 1/4 swede and can cuss a person out in German and ask if they speak it or understand it but that is about it

Hey, Old, as long as you can cuss, order a beer and find the Pension (hotel)..... you''re in pretty good shape!!
I am dealing with loosing my German: German TV, the internet and such cheap phone call charges (I remember when in 1989 MCI had a special to Germany: 0,99/minute!!)about 4.8 cents/minute truly help out, though! Plus, there are a few "Germans" (some are naturalized Americans now) around here in southwestern Oklahoma.... I miss the German food the most, after my mom, relatives. I guess when one gets older, family matters more, again.....

My dad was 100% German and he knew how to speak what is called High German I never learned it but he also taught German from time to time in schools where he taught. He was a Lutheran Pastor and college professor before he retired and then died back in 2004. My mom who is still alive is 3/4 German and 1/4 swede but she does not know how to speak German she is 88 years old and still lives alone

Should have added that My moms grew up in the eastern part of OK Seneca OK. to be exact and I still have family in OK. but can not tell you where any more

Bless her heart! That is an accomplishment to live alone at 88! My Mom's parents did too, Opa died in 2000 at 89, Oma in 2001 at 89 as well, were married for 63.5 yrs!!
My late Dad's father, was a priest/minister. Started out Roman Catholic, then Alt Catholic (they can marry), then German Lutheran pastor, all back in Germany, though. He passed away at 84 in the 1990's...

My mom lives on 5.5 acres of the 40 my parent got back in 1976 I have 33 of those acres so she is close by as in a 1.4 or so mile from me by foot but a mile by road. So if she need help she can call. As far as I know we still could well have family in Germany but who knows for sure. By the way I have a few years on you LOL

Well, that's okay with me... I won't catch up to you, but I sure will get there in due time!! LOL
My Mom's 69... traveling a lot and enjoying herself... Had plans to do it with my Dad (he would have been 72 in October) once he would retire, but life decided otherwise....!

The Rose, what temperature is it there?
my roses are just past that, also some are the same.
It is Autumn here with a few frosts.
