I saw that.
If they catch the perps they should prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
But only for killing anothers man's animal.
As for any religious or social implications, that is not for the government to get involved in.
There have been lots of desecrations of Christian sites and shrines and the law did not prosecute the perps more harshly than if it had been a Budweiser sign.
What's fair is fair I say.

John there was a link on that site that told about a 2 month old child that was killed by a family pet.It happened not far from Charleston last week. Horrible story.

I agree Ultradog. The religious or social implications should be left out of it.

The way I see it is someone killed and skinned this animal just so they could have a rare skin on their wall or they knew it would bring big bucks on the black market.

Do not get me wrong. I am all for killing a deer for its meat; or a cottonmouth to protect my children in my own yard; but I can not understand trophy or hanging a head on the wall killing.

This was an extremely rare animal that hasn't occurred in hundreds of years. Punishment for the killer should take that into consideration.

Since the person(s) went back and killed the cow, it appears they wanted to remove the possibility of another white buffalo being born. In my opinion, that makes this a hate crime.
