I don't know how it is in any other areas but here in my neck of the woods we have millers thicker than snot. Some call them giant moths etc. How is it in your country fellas.

Sure fire and cheap as Zero.
2" sided baking pan for square cakes. (any size, big is good.

Put 1/2 full of water and a table spoon of dish washing liquid.

Place a desk lamp, or trouble light over the pan by 10 inches or so 40 watt is good, not important. Shut off other lights, and they just dive in. Jim

That's interesting. I'll have to tell Marilyn so she knows she doesn't have a corner on the miller market. She's actually keeping tabs of how many have met their waterloo in this house. Last count was 96 down and more to go. When I come in the house in the evening and see five more circling the kitchen light I grab the fly spray and tell her "it's miller time". She uses a swatter and chases them to death. I don't have that kind of patience. Jim

this post s not at all what i expected,..i live close to amish country and we also are overrun with millers....LOL

Must be that time of year. Brother forwarded me an article from Iowa State where they refer to by the correct insect-world term -- BFMs - brown fuzzy moths.

No Millers here but there were times in the past when I woke up in the morning after friends were over the night before and found Budweisers strewn all over the table.

They must need a dry climate to survive. I seldom see them in Michigan, but they sure are a pest in eastern Colorado. Same thing with grasshoppers: we don't have them in the midwest.

There were some Millers that lived next door to us when we first moved to town. But have not seen them since we moved from that neighborhood.

I've seen the most Miller's in Northern Ohio, There was Great-Grandma &
Grandpa Miller and my Grandma's Sister Janet still lived at home. Miller
brewing even sent them a little sign to put on their refrigerator that
said "home is where the Miller is".
