Went to Crop Production yesterday amd got a price on that Avipel bird repelant to keep the cranes from eating the seed corn. Dry comes in 16oz packages,$4.35 and ounce. Calls for 2oz per 25 pounds of seed.
Liquid comes in 2.5 gal jug, $350 per gallon. Calls for 13.5 fluid oz per 100 pounds of seed.
I'm gonna try the dry. Don't know how well it's going to stick in the air planter, but I guess I'll find out.
Doesn't appear to be a RUP.

For the price of 2 quarts, you can go to the pound and bring home 3 or 4 barking dogs that love to run and chase birds. When bird season is over, you can teach them what an iron thief looks like.

I've alerady spent $100 for a US Fish and Wildlife permit to shoot the darned things and haven't had anything but limited success. But I can use the same guns we use on them on the metal theives.

Suprising numbers of them here in central Michigan, where rrlund and I are. THere's a nesting area on the place just nest to me. Must be several pairs there, considering the noise, and overflights. Can't ignore them when they fly over. Didn't used to have any around here only the last few years have they been around. Newcomers.

I'm about 100 miles south of Ray(P) and rrlund and we've only had them here in the last 5-8 years. Before that we'd only see them during their spring and fall migration. Now some are here all summer and getting more and more too. During the fall migration they have aviewing area n orth of Marshall, MI but I've never gone to it.
