AC WC or WD Wheels

Hi - I was wondering if one of you Allis Chalmers WC or WD45 owners could do me a favor. I am trying to find rear wheel discs to fit a Leyland 154 tractor. They are a 6 lug wheel disc. I see that the WC's and WD's use a 6 lug rear wheel disc. Could one of you owners please measure the bolt circle and diameter of the center hole so I can see if they'll fit my Leyland. Also what size tires do these w's use? I sure would appreciate your help. Thank you!

WD's came Standard with 12x28" (13.6x28" now).

The WD-45 was delivered with 13x28" (14.9x28 now).

I do not know if the Rims are wider on a WD-45...

I DO know the Front tires are the same size, BUT mine (on my WD-45) are Much, Much Heavier..(Loaded)!!

Might be metric on that leyland. I scarfed up some leyland 24" rims from a junkyard, once, a couple years ago. I wanted to put them on my Allis D-10, but had to scrounge up some Farmall 140 rim centers, to fit the 6 lug pattern on the D-10, the lug pattern fit, but the rim didn't fit the center. I had to use the plasma cutter, to blow about 1/8" off of each of the 4 rim to center bolt holes. Rim was bigger than center.

Dave thanks for the info. I am not real sure the wheels would be metric or not. Most of the bolts, etc on the leyland are actually sae not metric. It sounds like you are saying the farmall 140 rims could possibly fit the Leyland. Am I correct? Thanks again Dave.

Not sure, The best bet, would be for you to measure your tractor, and post the dimensions here. The old pros here can cross reference. Wheel bolt patterns are normally expressed in a formula, like 6 on 6", with a 4" center. 1st 6 is # of lugs, second 6 is the diameter of the bolt circle, and the center hole, is, well, the size of the center hole. If you look up bolt circle template, or something similar, you will find that they sell little plastic discs, with series of holes drilled in them, these are used as guides, for marking, and drilling holes, and are very inexpensive. Sometimes a rim center can be re-drilled, to fit your application. Ag tires are seldom balanced, and seldom go over 15 mph, so it aint exactly rocket science!
