OT Recovering an Alfalfa Field

Yesterday I seeded down a small field into alfalfa, with oats as a light cover crop. It was the first time seeding down with this drill and I thought we seeded kind of light. I went back out and reseeded just the alfalfa. Afterwards I got to thinking that the discs for the grain probably covered up the 1st batch of alfalfa too much now. Am I right in this assumption? Or will it be ok? Its a single disc drill so it throws a bit of dirt. Thanks for the help.

It should be OK. We have cross hatched alfalfa before at a lower rate with a drill and always gotten a good stand. I personnally think you get a better stand.

that makes me feel better, now if the black bird army pulls off its soldiers everything should be fine.
