Anyone deal with Friedrich Tire

I need front tires for my John Deere B and ran across Friedrich Tire, out of Chanhassen, Mn at the LeSueur Swap meet. They have their own brand and I was wondering if anyone has bought from them. How do they hold up, and would you recommend them. Thanks.

I have never got tires from them but was thinking about that over a year ago. The reason I didn't is because their web site was under construction for more than a year without being able to see inventory or prices. Guess I'm thinking that if they are an up front serious vendor they would have had their site up pretty fast.....instead of baiting you to call until the site was finished.

I would not make a big deal about a web site being done or not. Many of the people I do business with don't even have a computer. So I would just worry about the quality of the tires and work not their computer skills.

Sodder33 not to belittle your tire purchase but how much are a front set of tires for a JD "B" anyway??? At the most maybe $200 , more like $125. So unless it is some odd size I would buy locally. There you can see what you are getting and have some recourse if you have an issue. Consider the saving against the total cost. If it is just a few dollars I would stay local. Reason being if you need a real big repair or change done some day you will want to be dealing close to home.

I bought a set of fronts for My M two years ago. Less then 150.00 with new tubes. At the local tire shop it was over two hundred. They have held up well and also AMERICAN MADE.

Have met the guys from there also and they seem pretty honest. I checked prices on a set of 12.4-38's from them and they were competitive with anybody else. Would have gotten a set at LaSueur from them but they were out at that time. Nice looking tire with the diamonds on the side.

I bought four tires from him, because he was close and good price. After talking to him on the phone and in person I feel he is a very honest person.

Bought a set of rears for my JD 3020 last year. Was supposed to pick them up at LeSeur but do to a number of hiccups and miscommunication the ball got dropped and picked them up at Waukee.

The hiccups were mostly due to it being a small to medium sized outfit and just a number of things happening in the family. Always willing to help a small outfit that is doing big things. That and they were the only ones that could get me 45 degree tread in the size I needed and the price was competitive.

Will I check with them again for vintage tractor tires? You bet! Will I blindly buy from them without checking elsewhere especially my local dealer? Not on your life!

My experience was good.

JD you may be right but when I was checking back every few days because it did then and still says "online store coming soon".....well they already lied to me....so I am reluctant to deal with them. Not so much now after reading the other post but I still feel they lied/are lying. Not a good way to attract customers.
