wagon running gear hubs.....help!

Does anyone know where I could locate a source to buy weld on hubs, like on the rear axle of a haywagon running gear? or the kind like on many choppers that just bolt to the side of the machine with a standard 6 lug hub? I have several projects, and could use some of these.....any help appreciated.

Any place that works on RV's and ATV's or sells trailers will have them. Most farm stores, like Orscheln's in MO, have them. Harbor Freight probably has them. Surplus Direct probably has them.

You could go to a car salvage yard and get Chrysler minivan or GM front-wheel drive rear axles.

Most of the dealerships around here used to have them. I don't suppose the new super store dealers have them anymore? If you were close by,I've got several 5 bolt hubs and spindles that I've cut off of twisted and junked running gears.

I couldn't find one last winter when I broke one on a old gear for a 120 bu gravity box. I found a local machine shop. He drilled it out and threaded a stud into it then welded it and machined it down. Looked good when he was done and charged me 65 bucks. I hauled a couple a ton of fertilizer with it yesterday. Four ton is about all I can haul with it which is what was on it when it broke 10 miles from home. Just a thought or suggestion.

Shoup has wat you need, and so do most good implement dealers. TSC sure doesn't have them around here.

Being a machinist I make my own or go to someone I know and have them make it for me if I don't have time.
