Had the opportunity to take my Dad and his friend out of Springfield, Illinois in September of 2010.
What a trip - LONG day, but the memories will last forever!

Dad went today and should be in Cedar Rapids by 10:30 and then a bus ride to Marshalltown and a short trip out to the farm.

Dad left today from Tucson AZ. He didn't go last year when he was invited. I talked him into going this year. He didn't invite me, a 60s Navy aircrewman,he invited my BIL who never was in the service. Oh well, what can one say, his choice.
