Hot hydraulics?

So I disc a small field about 50x150 for a friend to plant sweet corn and I used my 8ft disc and my Oliver 1850. My other tractors were all in use else where. So after I was done i reached down and the hyd unit that is right under the seat was really hot much than what I would expect also my hyd remotes are still slow to lift and lower (I've already adjusted the flow control) what do you all think is going on?

That restrictor screw that you adjusted already, there's another screw next to it. It sets farther back in and the nut seats right up against the casting. Loosen the locknut on that one and make sure the screw is turned all the way in.

Does the tractor have a 3 point? If so is there any free travel in the lift arms when they are all the way up? Did you change it over to run a single acting cylinder?
