I get aggravated at anonymous posters (guests) that chime in with some BS or loud/badmouthing without having the nads to log in......

Some of them don't have sense enough to know what an IP address is...

So, if you want to figure out who an anonymous clown is, go to classic view, copy thier IP from the profil block, and put it in google... Be surprised at who some of the "guests" really are... And, fitting with the character of someone that hides, you get to see some of the sites they frequent... Some real doozies in some cases.......

Hafta look for yourself... I won't be calling anyone out unless they get stupid and/or personal... Just comical... Some will be arrogant under one "name" and all gracious and please/thankyou sir under another........
 
I don't know a whole lot about ip addresses, but I do know not
many people don't have a fixed ip.

For example, I searched yours and it just come up with some
military ip management stuff and some web site called witch
hunters.

Are you big into witch hunting Dave?
 
I googled mine- didn't come up with much, except my post about blackberries, and then a whole bunch of sites that claim to trace your IP address. Tried several, got mostly tech stuff I didn't understand, except they all agreed my location was Seattle, which is a 90 miles away. Not much that would blow my cover.

Maybe I'll try again and go a few more pages to try to find the juicy stuff. . .
 
Tell me more. ie when I go on another site with a counter it shows my hit in one of three towns, Lexington, Nicholasville or Versailles, all KY. Why?? just courious.

No,
but there are 6 of us using the same computer and a couple of them wouldn't surprise me a bit.... Even explains a couple things :roll:

I'll show up with two IP's but it makes no difference, I'll never hide behind anoniminity... I take pride in tellin someone they's an idiot when it's necessary........

Not important and the tracer sites aren't interesting..... Just when some braveheart gets loud as a guest, you can pretty much bet it's one of the weaker regulars............

Not so sure that an ip address means a whole lot. Kinda generic. Simply tells you who my ISP is. If you look up my IP address, it would say my isp is Atria Networks, but that"s not the name of who I buy it from, that"s the name of who they buy it from. Tells you I"m from Meaford, which is right and wrong, Meaford is in the area, but not the city in my address. At one time it would have listed an ISP out of Hamilton, even with the same company. Hamilton is 3 hours away. Also seen it where someone was in BC, but his IP# listed him as being isn Seattle,Wa. In the end it might tell you some about the person, but not alot. What the police could do with it though is a different thing.(As I understand it.)
