I am having no luck finding a rebuilt master cylinder or a master cylinder rebuild kit for the breaks on my old truck. The only # in the casting is K24-2. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Thanks

Try Hemming's motor news, most of their advertisers deal in old cars but some of the folks do old/obsolete parts for other stuff.

A friend of mine restored a 1936 OshKosh 4 wheel drive snowplow truck this winter. He got wheel cylinder parts and a rebuilt hydrovac from NAPA.

My local Napa store found(and got them) for me.All it takes is a good parts man who knows how to READ a book. Not that damned computer!

A NAPA store ought to be able to help you.

Also try Power Brake and Spring: 1-800-282-1044 or 574-289-1044

Google Search for Stevens and Hasty in Whiteville, NC. I don't know if they ship parts, but they have never failed to be able to get truck brake parts.

Thank you, that did it. $80.00 for a rebuilt plus the core. It was getting mission critical. The old folks need manure for the garden and I didn't want to shovel it out of a pickup.
