Rear Tube - Bias or Radial?

Need a new tube for my 14.9x24 rear tire and the local shop has bias for around $50, and radial for around $70...they said radial are top of the line and thicker...tractor is a massey 205 industrial with loaded tires and wheel weights.

I was wondering if there was really a difference between the two tube types, because most online shops sell bias...anyone know?

A radial tube is thicker. You can use a radial tube
in a bias tire, but you cannot use a bias tude in a
radial. The flexing of a radial tire will cause the
bias tube to chafe and tear.

yes, 14.9R24 is radial, 14.9 x 24 is bias... if the tire size has an R in it it's radial...

If you are loading them with calcium, put in the radial tubes. $20.00 bucks don't go far whan you have to work on one again.
