Whats your favorite truck?!?

(quoted from post at 10:31:50 04/17/12) my favorite truck is my dads 1997 Dodge 5.9 cummings! What is your favorite truck?
early ALWAYS the one that a fellow owns! As with me, my favorite is my 1062 Chevy pick-um up truck. If you allow pick-um ups in your survey?

Of course, I also like my son's 1927 Ford pick-um up, too.

It does really 'haul'!

Probably my favorite out of all the trucks I have owned, (not all that many) would be the very first one. A 1963 F100 with the 223 straight 6, 4 speed tranny, radio and heater.

The best lookin road trucks ever made are a B Model Mack or a Diamond T in pickups and bigger.

In late thirties and 40's vintage pickups THE DODGE BROTHERS PICKUP

In fifties vintage pickups the Chevrolet 3100 Cameo

Thats my story n Ima stickin to it

Top that list!!!!!!!!

For looks, I like the '40's IH KB Trucks. Wanted one since I was a kid.
This one's been sitting in my yard for a year and a half.
Wanna find a 5.9 or 8.3 cummins to put in it. The ol' RD450 is a FUEL HOG.
It may need a touch of paint and body work too...

Those old RDs drank, but sure did/do sound good!

You could take that picture to the fair, Merlin.

The adults would say "Look at the beautiful lighting!"

And the kids would yell "Tow Mater!"

My 96 F350 PS is my favorite...........BUT...the one I have the most fun driving....(and watch people stare at) is this one:

Dodge with a Cummins huh? Sounds like my nephews truck that's sitting in the yard with the transmission out. Coincidently right next to his brothers Chevy DuraMax with the blown engine.

Gotta go with my 85 Ford with the 6.9 diesel. I've sure had it longer than any other truck I've ever had. No need to replace it.

One that's paid for! To me for a modren truck in pickup size the Ford or GM, older ones, 78/79 Ford, 71 Chevy, both the 55 Ford and Chevy and the late 40's and early 50's Chevy's.

In big traucks I love the old Diamond Rio's and Macks.

Had Dodges for the last 30 years as my personnal truck. 3500 dually with 5.9 and 4 speed auto. That trans problem rumor with Dodges is mostly a myth. On the older models the trannys had bands that needed perodic adjustment. My 06 and newer aren't like that any more. NEVER had a trans problem yet.
BUT....had an operator that worke for me and did lots of snow plowing. He always bought a Ford.
When I bought my new style Dodge in '94 He liked the styling a lot and always asked me about it. I finally told Him that if You buy ten of ANYTHING, one will be a dog, and one of them will run trouble free forever. If He were to buy that "dog" he would hate me, the truck and his own self for buying ig it! He bought another Ford.
Buy what YOU are comfortable with. All the major brands are good, and through my 52 years in the concrete/excavating field have driven all of them

That body style looks good with a 1990 chevy stepside bed, the ones with the rubber step pads in the front and in the rear of the fender. The lines on the your cab and the lines on the 90 bed line up real nice. I do like your truck.

I had one of those once, only it was red. I was a dang fool for getting rid of it.

Here are my favorite trucks, and I guess they are my favorites because thats what I have now. Also, ditto to the paid for!

1952 IHC 120
1964 Ford F100
1965 Ford F250
1999 Ford F250 Superduty
