Worst winter storm this year. In April.

If wind starts to hit us from the northeast, we pay attention! We went from grass trying to green up last night to 30" snowdrifts this morning. The middle of the barn has a 16" snowdrift. The horses are waiting it out at the tree line, the sheep aren't leaving the shed, and the laying hens look stunned - they were relocated from the portable coop back to the winter coop. Back to the woodstove for a couple days with -20 windchill temps.

All we got was the wind. I don't hardly dare open the shop entry door for fear it's gonna blow out of my hand and rip the hinges off.
I hauled cattle this morning. The sale barn's northeast of here,so going up loaded wasn't bad,but coming home was something else. There was one stretch when I pulled away from a stop sign,I could only get up to 45 mph for about a mile. Got behind some trees and got up speed, but I used more fuel coming home empty than I did going up loaded.

this is obviously a hoax, because its the warmest temps on record, haven"t you heard? Are you going to believe your own eyes or the media. Well, we could use the H2O down here in SE PA.

It was the warmest March on record in Iowa and we never had more than a two inch snow all winter. Don't need media to tell me that. I didn't miss winter myself and I feel your pain. We just got 2.7 inches of rain.

We're in Geraldton, about 75 miles north of Lake Superior and 55 miles east of Lake Nipigon.
It's still snowing now but isn't coming down like it was. About 10", but some of the drifts well over 3ft.

When I am in Kapuskasing I'll drop by for a coffee. Geraldton and Kap are both on Hwy 11, until I mapped them, they are 4 hours apart.
