$25,000 John Deere B!!!

I didn't see it,but it must be the one that's been sitting in Ithica Michigan with a for sale sign on it for the past three of four years.

I have one that I will not sell for less then $100,000 no questions asked but it was my grand fathers tractor and I have had 5 generations of my family on it and have the original owners manual for it. It is a 1935 on steel wheels

Ya I seen it also. Supposed to be the perfect restoration but, After looking at the photo for about 5 seconds I could see lots of things not correct. Just another joker with a tractor!

Looks like it also comes with a restored gas pump. So if you figure the pump being worth $10k, the tractor is actually a bargain at $15,000...

I wont TAKE A PENNY OVER $5,900 FOR MY 1938 Unstyled Long Frame

I have five baby kittens worth 10k each, I wonder if he would deal with me?

A truck driver friend of mine picked up a trailer in Texas a few years ago with a JD 4440, and a 4020. He was actualy doing real well, as it paid good. I guess it would have been better if it wasn't for a couple cops wih a drug dog. He said he got to taste the pavment before the dog got to the high pitch of his yelping.

All four hind tires had a white powder in them............and the tractors did end up as scrap. He was detained for three days, and then he was free to go with the load of tractors to it's original drop point. The cops were in his sleeper, and no one came to rehook the trailer, nore did anyone sign for the load.

They figured some one was following in a car, and seen the dog action.

...All Original Tractor With Enhancements...

Wait, you restored the tractor. Is it all original or restored??

...Three generations, the grandfather purchased it new...

But, you bought it from them. So does it really matter, its not in the same family any more?? So now it would be a three owner tractor once someone buys it.

I use to run into these type of guys when I was into muscle cars and race cars. If you read his description carefully, he uses a bunch of words any "normal" tractor person would not. And if you read it out loud in a stupid voice, it sounds just like the used car salesmen that have their own financing and checkcashing stores all in one. I wonder if he is not just trying to jockey it.

Finally, his spelling and grammar are down right poor.

Disclaimer: I could really care less how people spell on forums or texting or how you talk in casual conversation, but when you are trying to peddle something you believe is worth $25,000, its not very convincing. MS word has spell and grammar check when you need to make something look professional.

If you read the sale closely you see that it also includes an enclosed trailer and a restored gas pump. He is still high but not as bad as it first sounds.

bill mart - Did you notice the image in the rear view mirror - looks to be another John Deere growing in a tree and its almost ready to be harvested . . . didn't know they grew that far west.

That is the UGLIEST tractor I have ever seen and I own a 1940 John Deere B. Way too many "upgrades" for me. A windshield??? Even if the thing had the add on overdrive gears it still doesn"t go that fast. Good luck selling it!!
