I'd been planning to go to an auction this past Friday for the Gehl 1060 chopper that was on it,but I bought a CaseIH 881 a week ago for $1600. Didn't go Friday, but just checked the results. The Gehl brought $900. Just gotta keep telling myself I don't know how high the other guy would have gone.

Checking the auction results you posted tells me it is time to hit Michigan to buy things right! The darn auctioneers here don't want to post any results of their sales. A matter of privacy my tail! So do they tell everybody at the conclusion of their sales that the patrons must now forget the results?
Yeah, the Gehl could have been bid way higher and the parts situation with Case IH is a little more certain.

Ya,and Scott's one of the best around here too when it comes to getting the high dollar. I can't believe it sometimes when people post auction prices or dealer asking prices.

Randy. Friends were there.Know the place. He bought the stuff over the last 18ys and hasnt put money into nothing. You would have to have brought tires with you and taken the time to switch pto shafts. Owner has been working off the farm. John McConnell was doing the set up and didnt put shafts where they belonged. Owner spent part of the morning getting things straight. Daughter is still milking 30 or so but has decided not to farm. Said last yr they paid others to put things in the ground and harvest for around $8000. Said yesterday he was looking for a front wheel assist tractor and a skidstear so she can clean barns. Dont think you would have wanted that bargain.
