I have a ford 800tractor and the hydraulic lift stopped working. I've replaced every o ring I can find, checked everything I can think of, and it still don't work, when I tried to bleed it off,it just bubbles air out of the plug and wont lift.it acts like it wants to but it don't,the pump acts like it wants to prime but doesn't.help me please!

i had to use a air gun to prime my '62 2000...pressurized the hydraulic sump...if that doesn't do it,you may have leaky hydraulic tubes from pump to sump or pump needs rebuilding too.

Vane of plunger type pump?? If a vane type pump it could be just plan wore out. You may also have a crack in the suction line inside the transmission and that would cause that problem or be low on fluid

Like others have posted you might have a suction line issue. It is letting air into the suction side so the main pump can't draw hydraulic oil.

If it is just a priming issue then take an air blow gun and pressurize the hydraulic reservoir. Take the filler plug out and wrap a rag around the blow gun. Just don't over do it as you can blow the seals out. Do this while it is running. If the pump starts working that maybe just a one time thing. If it does not work after you restart the tractor then you have a leak in the suction line.

Take the PTO lever/cover off of the left side. then blow back threw the hydraulic pump thru the bleeder plug hole. Just pressurize it a little bit. While you are doing this look through the PTO cover hole and see if you can see where the tube is leaking. It will usually bubble.
