Volt meter on dash won't work

Can anybody tell me how the volt meter on the dash of a TW25 Q cab works or gets its feed from?
The tractor is charging ok, Approx 14.8 volts, but the volt reading on the dash doe's not move from rest position. It used to flick on when ign was switched on. I can't even take the gauge out as its part of a cluster hidden behind a plastic moulded cover

The source is probably ACC position of the back of the switch (if this terminal is intermittant, it will do that, and also have issues with accessories. That terminal is on when the Key switch is in any position except OFF. The other side is grounded to the chassis. Jim
