Sorry it took so long to get back to you. The answer to your question is YES I am aware just how much it costs to get a tractor to that point, even specifically a Super H as you can see. But that doesn't make one worth $8300. When all is said and done it's still a Super H, no matter how much money you throw in it or how nice you make it. tractor people know we aren't dealing with muscle cars here. That said it is a very nice Stage II SH and he has the right to ask what ever he wants (or you do if it's yours!) Based on that tractor I guess I could deduct about $500 because mine is a Stage I, and even though the wide front just makes them simply unhandy I realize they are popular with the trailer queen crowd so deduct another $200 for a narrow front...guess mine is worth what $6600 if you can justify $8300 for that one? Bring'er on Boy's! Anyone wants to give me $6600 for mine I'll start on the next one as soon as the check clears!

Sry forgot the pics, but as you can see, this was gone through at least as much: complete out of frame rebuild, tranny gone through, new rubber, front end rebuild, nwe brake shafts and discs...you name it it got it. So yeah I do have a lil idea what it takes to get one to that leve!

I have a 1991 Honda Accord with 275,000 miles. I could spend $20,000 restoring it. After spending $20,000 making it like new I might be able to sell it for $7,500 dollars. Older tractors aren't much different, unless it's the very first made, the very last made, a totally original unused example or a rare variation of a popular tractor or has some other factor that makes it extremely desirable it is real easy to spend more on them than what they can be sold for. I do take offense when some one dumps more money into something than it's worth then tries to sell it and I am accused of being a low life dirt bag low-baller by offering what the market value of the tractor is. They can ask whatever they want for it, and someone is free to pay more than it's worth if they so desire. If you spend $8,000 making a $3,000 tractor a $6,000 dollar tractor you're in it for about $5,000 to much. Another factor that a lot of folks don't understand is a lot of old tractor people like working on tractors, for them the journey is more important then the destination, gez....why would someone buy a restored tractor? All the fun is already taken out if it.

Wis, Exactly...we enjoy the process as much as the playing with them. We have more in it than it's worth, but then again we'll never sell it! This was her before...

Oops Dave I lied, found this one, kinda far away though, that's our 2N behind it, was a tractor ride/poker run for local breast cancer charity
