Jd 520 pedal tractor

I have a jd 520 model pedal tractor (4440) that I got as a basket case. Looks like it is all there. I have one part that I dont know what it does our where it goes. It is a stamped steel disk about 2 1/2" across with a 5/8 hole in the middle. Does this belong on the tractor or is it just a piece that found its way to the tractor?

Not sure what you may be talking about. I use Jim from Eastern Pedal Products for all my pedal tractor parts. I do not have his number handy but you can do a search engine and find it. He works out of his house so you can get him at about any hour of the day time eastern time before there bed time

I restored a 520 about 4 years ago for my grandsons. Don't remember a piece like that on it and don't think anything on it would have a 5/8" hole.

I got all the parts I needed from Potter's Farm Toys.
