does such a camera exist (that a normal joe can afford)?

Hey folks,
Just made the loop to see how some pastures look as far as being horse ready.... Out of 12 all were good except one area. 4 of the 5 in that area had the fence cut and just randomly vandalized..... They are a mile from the house. Is there such a camera that is wireless and has a longrange transmitter or works over a satellite that I can monitor on the internet or on TV?? Not so much interested in buying something (unless it's reasonable) but more in the fact that it's available so I can put up signs and a couple dummies..... Then I'll just set up a game camera to watch the dummies

i saw some that work through your cell phone, but they were pricey, if i remember (which i probably don't)..around 350.00

If you put up the signs that will defeat the purpose. They will say, "ooh, free camera" and tear the place up looking for it.

Something with a mile range or satellite uplink is going to be way more than $350.

dealing with three possibilities here, hunters, American kid that is bored (long story) and the newest hells angels group of kids hitting moped age. In all cases, they don't wanna lose face by being called out (being caught in a pic) and ain't smart enough to try and find the camera..... Have talked with the hunter group head and said I#d be looking to them for the next damages and offered a reward if they see an outsider messing with things.Same with a group of kids/mopeds.... Told them I'd give them 20 liters of mixed gas for every month that there is no fence damage. Just gotta discourage the American kids.Don't wanna make a big deal there because his dad is in afghanistan and don't want to stress his mom anymore than what a teenage boy already causes.....

I don t know what they have now but check with a company call Net-10. I bought wireless video cameras from them before, and they might have something cheap.
