David Bradley walking tractor

What is the value of a David Bradley walking tractor that is in descent shape but won't run? I have been looking at one and just wondering what was a fair price. Thanks

Not much, unless you want one bad!
It depends entirely on the model and condition, and if it doesn't have the implements that fit it, it is a white elephant. No one else's will fit up.
One of the tractor websites has a section on the David Bradleys. Google should take you to the info you want.
Most of them didn't have a power reverse, and one of those without the power reverse option is a backbreaker to use!

Sold mine for $50. It included a running 8 H.P. Wisconsin engine, plow, and cultivator. It had differential lock, and reverse.

There is a David Bradley Owners club,(Someplace?)
I think they have a web site, maybe even a magazine.

I've passed many up for $50. David Bradley/Sears is a very common walk-behind tractor and probably one of the least valuable. I've got over a dozer of them laying around.

Regarding a David Bradley and the speed changer belts. Just putting one back together. Cannot figure out how the engine to double pulley belt stays tight and engages when the speed changer lever engages and tightens the belt from the double pulley to the clutch. In other words, everything seems to be working in opposite directions. What am i missing here?
