please help

i have a 411-b case not sure of the year still new at this lol but tractor will not start it turns over but no start have the farmer look at it n he says we have srark and i also know we have gas 2 and from there i have no clue help please any 1......thanks

A few more details will help. Has it been run recently or has it run since you got it? When you say it has gas is this gas in the tank or to the carb? If it hasn't run in a long time remember that the engine is just a big air pump so if the exhaust is blocked by mice or such then it won't run.
The more details the easier it will be for someone on here to zero in on the problem.

AND AIR.

Might want to tell him to check his air filter.

Might also want to check the timing.

yes it did run it has sat for about 1 to 1.5 mounths i think i found the bottom of the air filter cause it had oil in it but how can i get to the top of the filter ??

Month isn't anything. Little spray ether into carb. Fresh batt. Identify tractor and some history please. Dave

A bit like me, think it maybe age,how do I fix that?

I think you should give all of these good people some details of the tractor or they are in a lesser position than you.
The more detail the better.

I be thinking that Mike(WA) has the right idea you don't sound paticularly mechanically inclined so let a mechanic look it over. What happened to it in the last month, leave the key on and burn up ;points, condenser, coil? Is the gas open and flowing to carb? You need to supply a lot more info than "My tractor wont start" It only takes a week to get a manual that would tell you about air cleaners and clean points and correct timing. Until you know what you are lacking leave it to a pro.

Hard to do this long-distance, and you appear to not have the best mechanical skills and zero experience, so really really hard to help you out over the internet....

Typically, the fuel gets a little weak, the carb gets a tad gooped up, the battery gets a little weak, points get a little rusty/moist, and so on and on.

Doesn't want to fire up easily. Once you get it to fire up, will be good again, things get warm, charged, dried, fresh.....

You just gotta get there from here. Charge battery up, shot of either, etc.

If you don"t know what an oil bath air cleaner is, I
doubt you are going to get it running. I agree with
the other advise, get a professional to look at it.

Where are you? Maybe someone on here lives close by and would be willing to come by and take a look at it, and teach you a little something in the process. I would be happy to come by if you are near me in northeast Iowa. (e-mail is open)
Good Luck and God Bless

First off, CALM DOWN.

"please help" is not a useful title for a forum thread. Next time try something more descriptive. 99% of the threads started here are people asking for help in some way or another... Imagine if everyone titled their threads "please help."

There is a Case specific forum on this site with people who are probably familiar with your tractor. Go back to where you found "Tractor Talk" and scroll down until you find it.

Once you get there start a thread titled "Case 411-B will not start."

In the meantime work on educating yourself as to the various parts of the tractor. See if you can source an owner's manual for the tractor on the Internet. There are many places that sell reproduction manuals.
