Tractor shipping

Hi all, I am looking for a business that can ship my tractors (John Deere M and Case VAO) about 150 miles in California, also the same company I would like to ride along with as at their destination there is no person that can drive them. I would like to take both tractors at the same time if possible. I am looking for an established insured business.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I have used the shipping link here on YT a couple of times with good results. The last time I found a backload from a trucker that was based not too far from me. He let me know when he picked up my cab in Iowa, and called to let me know he was going to be late getting here. The only thing I asked him up front is if he had insurance. If I could remeber his name, I sure would have passed it on.

That's what made my haul so reasonable, and late. Seems he had more than my piece on his backload. I bet they watch the shipping posts pretty close so you might want to try it there.

It's going to be rough to find an established insured business that'll let you ride in the truck, from my understanding that's a no-no under DOT regulations.

I seriously doubt that you will be able to ride along, thanks to the Government. If the trucker is worth his weight, he will know how to load your tractors, or at least be able to figure it out.

DO NOT USE FELLOW USING DANIELS AS LAST NAME or anybody wanting partial prepay wsing dollat general gift card!!!!!!!!!!!!! (quoted from post at 05:15:42 04/10/12) I must be missing something; Where is this shipping link?

Jim

"Hauling Schedule" on the left hand side under the "Community" heading. It's the last link in the box.

Also try UShip DOT com. You will receive bids on the job, you can check up on the shipper, and you may even end up on a reality TV show.

If the trucker can even let you ride along, how do you propose to get home? The trucker is going to charge you loaded miles to drive you home, because otherwise he would be off to his next job.

Take your car and meet the trucker there (note that I didn't say follow him)Both of you can go on your own pace that way.. Even if the truckers were to let you ride along, he won't chaufer you back home, most likely go on to another load from your drop-off point.
Put ad in or look on ads under "hauling schedule" on the left side of this page. but also read under "buyer/seller feedback" in discussion forums to learn about + and - experiences, haulers.
