I was just wondering how many on this site watch Joel Osteen on the tube. I think he is great. If you haven't seen him then you should take a look.

I occasionally watch him for a few minutes at a time...........always when I'm 'channel surfing'; my pastor and I have often discussed him and others who preach a form of 'prosperity gospel', which I find ludicrous.

Maybe you should rethink your position. It works for me and for him and I'm sure a lot of other people. I'm sure he has helped a lot of people get though some tough times. Just a thought.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy him. I guess he's contoversial with some churches because they say he doesen't teach the Word has much as he teaches how to live and feel better about yourself using the Bible as a guide. I see nothing wrong with that; just another type of ministry.
