Forgot

I set two small sheetrock saws by the door last night so I would remember to bring them to work with me this morning.
Walked out the door and never gave them a thought untill I was a few miles from home.
Arrgh.
Oh well, they're cheap and Home Depot was a short detour away so I rolled in there, went inside and wandered around for a few minutes trying to think of what it was I came there for.
Then I realized I'd forgotten what I forgot.
And that didn't help at all.

I hate it when that hap....., what was it you were posting about? Wait a minute, I have to re-read it--oh it's about those saws you left at Home Depot and---.

Yesterday I went to the elevator to talk over the splits on a bill and I went blank on the location of a couple of fields. Totally blank!I've lived here 61 years and I lost track of where the fields are. Didn't help that the gal I was talking to was so good looking. Jim

Grandpa told me if you can remember what time dinner is everything else will take care of itself. I didn't know what he meant back then but unfortunately I understand perfectly now.
