My 5 OLD tractors

My husband passed away a few years ago and he
loved old tractors. I have about 5-6 that I
don't know what they are or if they are
candidates for fixer-uppers, or just junk.
They are all pre-1960. One is a 1921 or 1918
iron wheel Fordson that ran when he parked it.
If someone out there could see the pictures,
could they help me out with year and make??
I'm new at this internet stuff so please let
me know by e-mail if possible.

Folks cannot email you unless you fill in your email in the Email box when you are posting. Might be a good idea to set up a g-mail or hotmail email account for internet contacting.

My guess is that many folks on this website will be able to help you out with makes/models of the tractors. Many very knowledgeable people here.

You won"t be able to post pictures for a few days until you have used the website for awhile, unless you contact the site administrator for permission to do it earlier than usually allowed.

I'd have someone haul them to an auction to get rid of them. With the internet you will get scammers and low ballers wanting something for nothing. They will bring what there worth at auction and all be sold in one day.

Her email is open. I know a person that on the Fordson could tell year just by looking at picture.

Go to the dealer where he got parts from. Tell them your situation and if they are any kind of dealer at all they will put you in touch with the right people to help you sell them.

I am located in Penna. We started buying
these pcs. in the late '60's. He had lots of
parts and mechanical know-how....fabricated
parts and had inventory of old misc. parts.
I wouldn't know where to find any of his
parts sources. They were all in pretty good
shape when he purchased them....lots of years
have passed and they need lots of attention.

I'm guessing you are not that far from Chambersburg
Doesn't Messicks have a dealership near there ?

One of my Army buddies was from Altoona. He was a paratrooper too. He had a lot of heart problems and died in 2001. Hal

Well......I sure want to thank you gentlemen for
all the feedback on my 5 old tractors. They
have been identified for me and that's what I
wanted to know. Thanks to bompchomp and
drobin3960 for ALL of their above and beyond
help. I like to feel I've made a couple of
new friends. Once again, thanks to all of you
for the feedback......SO.....guess it's HI-HO
Hi-Ho, off to the salvage yard I go. I'll take
one more walk around, hold back a few tears and
call the salvage yard this summer. My husband
passed away only 9 months after he retired and
his plan was to work on these old tractors.
Sadly, never had the chance. So, if you guys
wanna do something, don't wait. Your life can
change in a heartbeat. Love to you all.
