OT a prayer

I heard about the storms, but didn't know just where the folks were located. Every time I hear about a storm now I wonder if someone that we are acquainted with on this forum is affected.
 
I just saw that on the news Praying for all in the path of that storm It looks like it may be heading toward SC also where I have friends there as well.

Nancy called from Hutchins yesterday evening around 6:15 and said all was OK at the house and barn; no damage to our property in the Dallas area.

Just checked the rain gauge and had 1.5 inches of rain from yesterday's storm system.

Probably take a tractor ride at sunrise to check for any wind damage around the farm.

Our home is in Hutchins, TX about 10 miles East of Lancaster where the tornadoes came through.

Hutchins is 13 miles South of Dallas on I45.

As James has said, everything ok here. Yard had lots of leaves off the trees, but that was all. Didn"t look like we got that much rain.

News said there were 15 tornadoes reported, but only two actually confirmed as of 10:00 last night.

Miracle story - In Forney (east of us) a grandmother was taking care of her daughter"s two children. One was and 18 month old boy. As a tornado ripped the house apart, the suction nearly tore the baby from her arms. She was able to hold on to him by his ankles. The baby is ok. Grandmother had some minor injuries.

Thank you, Lord, there were no fatalities and few serious injuries. God is good.
 
With all the storms, we only got 3/4 inch west of Fort Worth. Thankfull for no twisters though.
My garden was getting dry on top.
