Sweetcorn harvest

Maybe from South Texas,?, or GreenHouses? ,,HOW ABOUT hawaii,,the garden island of Kauai is MY Favorite ,, in my next life i want to live and prosper there,THEY CAN and Do have vegetables planted on a 2 week harvest schedule year around on the Hawaiin Islands , Kauai in particular,,in 1969 ,, when the Corn Blight Wrecked our mainland U S seed ..nearly every seed company flew to KAUAI and created a bliht resistant seed
 
South Florida, normal year they start planting the winter sweetcorn crop in November.
 
When we went to Kauai several years ago, it rained hard most every day on the "wet" end of the island, so we spent quite a bit of time on the dry end, where the sugar cane used to be. I was surprised at how little of the farmland was being used- most was just lying fallow. I would think there would be vegetable farming, to supply the islands, at least.
