Somebody put some effort into it, but it's not
believable. Not only the % of farms run by women,
but also the battery life between charges, etc. Pic
appears to be Agco tractors photoshopped to pink.

My son is the editor of the local paper. I asked him if they were going to do any April Fool stories.

Replied he, "Are you kidding? We screw up enough stuff by accident, we're sure not going to do it on purpose."

farmshine is well known for their april first editions. one time after a real hard winter, they had a story about an amish family that moved to the tug hill area, got snowed in so bad they had to use a steel silo for the bulk tank and it was so cold the milk kept for a month or so. another one during the EPA "cow fart" debacle told of a u.s. navy ship being retrofitted to run on the gas produced by the herd below deck.

There is a contractor in the Ironwood Michigan/Hurly Wisconsin area that paints all his equipment pink. Trucks dozers loaders cranes, everything.
