Iam new to the two cylinder world and I would like to know if my tractor is suppose to have a square front axle or round Iam talking about the piece that bolts to the nose of the tractor not the part that was the spindle on it and also if it should have a stack on it for the air cleaner because there is a hole cut in the hood but somebody did a bad job repairing it. Thanks for all the help and advise in advance Iam sure I will be on here a lot in the near future

I,m a red guy,but I started farming 35 years ago with a 730 diesel.Probably one the best tractors I've ever owned and definitely the most economical.720s used the square front, but the older round would fit. Most diesel 720s used an intake stack.I'm sure there were diesels that did not have that stack.

That hood is made with a "knock out" plug in that hole where the optional air stack goes. Just get an airstack and put it on. You will like it. BTW, started my 720 D pony start today for the first time this spring.
