17 acres for sale near Heath Springs, 8 open farm, 9 in trees. Large pond with flowing stream, but the dam needs rebuilt. $72,000 Paved road on two sides. six miles to Walmart, five miles from town. Near I-77, not 95 corridor though.

BLW,I live in NW SC, near the Greenville/ Spartanburg area. I just spent about an hour looking at the Craigslist's listing for properties that would meet your wants. Acreage prices run about $9,000 to $15,000 per acre for undeveloped smaller parcels. I did not find anything worth posting a link to here but I will keep looking. As far as trading tractors for land, I cannot offer an opinion on that. A lot of the smaller farms here are being cut up into building lots as the metro area of G-ville & Spartanburg continues to sprawl out into what was farm land, when this happens most of the equiptment has already been sold. A smaller 1-2 ac. lot that has decent road access is bringing about $20- 25 per acre. Sorry I can't offer more advice at this time but as I said, I will keep looking.

thanks a lot it is not near 95 but that is what i am looking for if you know the owner have him contact me by e-mail keep me in mind if anything else comes up for that price or lower thanks again blw

Here's another option, BLW. Saw that you would be happy with as little as an acre. Dunno anything about land in the area that you prefer, but here in SW OK, sometimes several connecting city lots and even whole blocks are sold/auctioned off, with or without buildings (in various states of being...lol)in small dying towns or settlements (e.g. Cooperton, OK, Gould, OK, Loveland, OK, etc.)Many towns also dissolve their charter and return to unincorporated or have minimal restrictions on use. Here folks are glad to see someone decent move in, another warm body to populate their community. Some of the larger parcels are held by disbandened churches (1st Baptist in Gould(1.5 city blocks), OK; Cath. Church in Trinchera, CO (several town parcels), etc...), old school land, cotton gins or COOPs, etc. Check with local banks as well. I know that you rather trade tractors for land, but those can be sold for $ and $ buy the land. Another thing to consider: What are your tractors worth in your current location, what's the value where you want to move to, cost of transporting them, etc...Just some food for thought.
PS: If you would like to move to SW OK, let me know, email is open!! Hot but dry, low humidity, is good for aching joints!! -- Be glad to help and we would love to have you! Ralph in Oklahoma.
