The glovebox in my truck contains only the owners manual for the truck, and the owners manual for the Clarion stereo which I need to keep handy so I can reset the clock.

We won't even talk about what MIGHT be in the center console, or in the tool box.

owners manual, registration, insurance and a cowboys Bible, a

thanks for your statement about bible as I try to keep new testements in truck to give to hitchikers or others as seems good need to restock

Friend of mine......who's been married about 40 years.....got a text message EARLY one morning last week that said, "I know I promised not to text you, but did I leave my nnalert in your truck?" He's still trying to figure that one out......

I'll tell you what's NOT in there anymore. Catsup and dipping sauce from McDonalds. Danged stuff attracted mice and they started chewing things they shouldn't have.

Usually the remains of the operators manual and a pile of napkins. All mouse chewed up. Maybe a few rifle and shot gun shells.

Tire plug kit, replacement bulbs for brake lights,
a few napkins, a few streamers (fly fishing), odd selection of bolts, spare chainsaw bar nut.
I only know this because I used the plug kit yesterday on another truck. Took a while to remember that I left it in the glove box to begin with.

I was making a delivery to one our operators in a nuke plant and the guards found a beat up, dented can of Coors Light in mine. They took it, but forced me to take it back when I left the security area. Guess they didn't want to explain where they got a can of beer in the guard shack.

Insurance card, a written warning citation for failure to yield from the local city cop from a few weeks ago, some assorted fuses, pair of waterpump pliers, handfull of gas receipts, brakelight switch that no longer works that I plan to fix someday (been there several years already), a pencil and small pad of paper, and a pen that dried up years ago (that's why there is a pencil in there now).
The funny thing is, it's called a glovebox but how many actually have gloves in there?
Oh, and don't ask what's in the across bed toolbox!

Thanks for bringing this topic up ! I found my bundle of wire ties I knew I had somewhere. along with a bundle of napkins pink transfer slip from purchase of the truck, three screws of unknown origin, (look like for interior molding )
and my trailer light adapter from 6 pin to 4 wire flat.. you guessed it now I have two of them one in the door pouch.

Documents the john law will ask for. Knife, matches, pliers, screwdriver, roll of scotch elect. tape, 3 foot piece of #14 wire. Flashlight that works. Dave

Screws, screw driver, manual, every registration slip since Dad bought it in 92, and up till a week ago, a spare blade for the chainsaw that was dull. Now it's sharp and in the toolbox in the shop.

Hmmmm. lemme see. Spare light bulbs, a set of mag nuts for a set of rims that haven't been on the truck in 8 years, fuses, fuse puller, insurance & registration papers, approx 4 feet of cannon fuse, various nuts and bolts, sickle mower rivets, pictures of attractive girls(from the calendar on the dashboard that's 3 years old), hose clamps, P38 can opener, lobster necklace from red lobster(from anniversary dinner 6 years ago), 2 boxes of 22 shells, 2 20 gauge slugs, a folding hoof knife, film canister(contains fish hooks and split shot) receipts for stuff for truck, IH light switch, about $.40, 2 lynch pins, hay chaff and about an ounce and a half of the dirt road. I'm not even going to venture a guess as to what all is on the passenger side floor pan or under the seat!

1976 F-150; Registration and insurance card, Original owners manual containing original bill of sale and receipt for dealer installed AM-FM/8 track. (I bought it from the original owner). And a small pocket notebook advertising Sweet Peach snuff. (It was also in there when I bought the truck.) The screwdrivers and other hardware generally go in a small toolbox which I carry in the passenger side floor.

pocket knife-cheap set of tools-gloves(surprise) insurance card, tire gauge, fire starter, roll of electric tape. had to go check.

40 cal, insurance, registration, and a few taco bell gift certificates.
