Oliver 1850 lift arm ball

I did not see them on yt mag parts I checked 2 tractor supply stores they did not have them where would you feel safe ordering online from?

They're the same as the top link ball for a Deere. You can just get them from the Deere dealer and save yourself some shipping.

I happen to sell some that I made up quite a while ago, when I was sick of the junk ones we kept getting every where else. Made from 4140 steel, heat treated to 44-46 Rockwell C just like the originals were. I tested one of the new aftermarket ones we had and it wasn't even 35 rockwell. They turn to mush with a plow on the 3 pt. I have never had anyone complain about the ones they bought from me.

If interested, you can email me. Put 3 pt. balls in the subject so I don't trash it.

And no, JD top link balls DO NOT have the 1 1/8" hole in them like the lower pins require.

A&I has the lift arm balls for about $5. A lot of farm equipment dealers are also A&I dealers. They are not the same as top link balls due to the hole diameter being different.

I'd guess you're one of the guys who bought some? It's been a while since I've really sold any and I forget who all got them.

Never had a single person complain though, and a few even bought more so they didn't need to change them from implement to implement. Those aftermarket ones like from A&I will have you buying another set within a couple years. Mine are still the same shape they were when I made them, and I pull them w/100 HP on a plow all day long.
